Practices Begin this Week!
Hi everyone! The time has (finally) come
for our first practice and the launch of our season!
As posted on our calendar,
we practice on Tuesday and Friday this week, 7-8 pm, at Silverwood Park
Soccer Field, 50 Sycamore St., London.
Coach Maegan is still working on a possible exhibition game for us next weekend and should have more information at our first practice. I have our uniforms and will also hand those out at our practices this week.
I submitted our requested ‘bye’ weekends for the season and will be sure to update our online calendar as soon as the schedule has been set. Some people have questioned our driving distances, assuming that we will only play one game when we get there. It is my understanding that our season will actually be similar to boys field lacrosse, where all U13 Girls Field Teams will travel to one host community on Sunday and then play multiple teams that day. So, yes, the distances are far but we will play multiple games once we get there:).
