*** Parents, we welcome help on the floor throughout the season. We need assistance coaches, and general help guiding players. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. I will be coaching during one of the time slots and will provide lacrosse knowledge and drills to the coaches. Every parent is welcome to help, be it simple drills, helping with water bottles, dressing goalies, filling in game sheets, motivating players positively, etc. Simply come on the floor with or without a lacrosse stick. If you have an older son or daughter playing lacrosse within the organization, they are also welcome on the floor to help as long as they are wearing a CSA approved helmet (16 yrs/under). With your help it will be a very enjoyable and rewarding experience for your child and yourself. A police check is required, more information is listed below.

----------
Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) for Volunteer Purposes
MUST be completed by all coaches and assistant coaches.
I will be handing out a LMLA volunteer letter at Orientation Day that must be presented with the application to 'your local to home' police or OPP station.

Here are the links to the London Police Service PVSC information & application form;

Once you receive the record check, I will collect the check from all of the coaches / helpers and submit them to the LMLA registrar.

Note: ** If you have coached lacrosse in the previous 4 seasons and already completed a police check, you do not need to complete another, an 'Offence Declaration Check' will suffice instead. Fill in the attached form, provide to me and I will submit them to the LMLA registrar.

If you would like me to add another e-mail address to this distribution list (spouse, etc), just let me know the e-mail address. Or, if you have received this e-mail in error, do let me know and I will remove you from the distribution list.

Please feel welcome to contact me with any questions, and I look forward to seeing you at the arena.

Thanks,
Rob Ashmore
