Intermediate Tryouts 2015
Welcome Players and Parents to the Girls Intermediate Try-outs!
The information below is an outline of the tryout process and a brief season plan.
The scheduled dates and times of the remaining tryouts for this team are as follows; ·Thursday April 2, 2015 - 7:00pm ·Saturday April 4, 2015 – 7:00pm
Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 – 10:00 starting the week of April 13th.
The approximate cost to play will be $50.00 - $100.00 per player to cover the following - Tournaments, first aid supplies, etc.
The costs noted above may be reduced accordingly with respect to any sponsorships or fund raising the team may receive or engage in. We will be looking for a cheque for $50.00 at the first practice, and then one postdated cheque for $50 May 15th. If finances are an issue, please speak to me, as we can work out some kind of a payment schedule.
The “Tentative” box lacrosse tournament schedule is as follows:
Kitchener – Lax Angels Tournament– May 29th – 31st
Peterborough Liftlock City Laxfest – June 26th - 28th
“Girls Provincials” – Whitby – August 4th – 6th
The Girls Intermediate schedule will consist of a zone game and/or two practices per week, with 2 tournaments and provincials, so we are looking at hitting the floor 2-3 times per week. If you are unprepared, or unwilling to commit fully to the program as outlined, please come and speak with me directly.
