Congratulations LONDON PEEWEE 2 BLUE DEVILS on earning #1 at the Jack Bionda Tournament in Huntsville. Credit to all of our opponents, especially the home town Huntsville Hawks Peewee team who took us right to the edge in the final. Down 3 to 2 with 25 seconds remaining in the 3rd period, the Blue Devils called a timeout, pulled the goalie for an extra attacker, discussed the play, and with 13 seconds remaining tied the game. Congratulations LONDON PEEWEE 2 BLUE DEVILS on earning the GOLD Medal at the well organized Chuck Miller Tournament in Guelph this past weekend! The team showed solid defensive showing and were backed up by our amazing goaltender, only allowing 7 goals in 4 full games. A statistic unheard of in lacrosse. Tied 2-2 after 3 periods of play, the Championship game went to Overtime. The crowd and benches were going wild, 1 minute and 26 seconds into the sudden death OT, one of our players picked up a loose ball in the middle of the offensive zone and fired it in for the victory.
